“This has been easily on of my favorite bbq products in the last few years. It may seem odd at first sight, but once you see how it cooks, how fun it is, and how good the final product is, you will be hooked!

I have lots of time cooking on Santa Maria grills, but this takes that adjustable grate cooking concept to a new level with the lid. You still get the awesome fat-dripping-on burning wood sound smell and effect that is so dang good, but the lid brings the heat back down and assists with even cooking and flavor control.

It’s become my go-to for camping (RVing) as I find the setup to be pretty efficient, and it becomes a big conversation piece and a very much multifunctional tool that allows me to cook dinner and then use the same coals to start the campfire for the evening; whether the barrel is suspended or on the ground. While it won’t be as smoke-less as a Solo Stove or the like, it does burn pretty clean and efficient. But what I like most, is that the double-wall design keeps the outside cool which is comforting with kids and dogs around.

All in all the Burch is versatile and fun…quite the perfect combination!”
