Rae Crowther’s New Classic 5 Man Sled

Crowther’s New Classic Sleds can provide your linemen with a set of skills to succeed in the red zone. Teams drilled on Crowther sleds are generally hard-hitting teams. The Classic sleds have proven their effectiveness over many years. They are the proven choice for many teams. The fundamentals can be covered without long discussions.  The New Classics are now modular.  A 5 Man Sled can convert to a 3 and 2 man.  And they now have a run through frame, where players can shed into the interior of the sled.  Choose between 3 types of pads; the Z1, Z2, or Bloxx.

Z1 Pads

The Z1 Pad has armpits built into the pad to simulate players.  The player’s hands fit tight into the armpits.  The pad cover is made with 18 oz. nylon and is screened with jersey numbers and a facemask.  The pad is made from heavy rebond foam. The pads mount to the sled via two pockets sewn into the pad with 40 oz. nylon and 2” wide gripper webbing.   The pads don’t twist or turn easily on the pad plate.  The pads are removable for storage without any need of tools or pins (about 3 minutes per pad).

Z2 Pads

The new Z2 pad has the same basic shape as the Z1 pad but has a built in Chest Plate to promote inside hand placement with a realistic strike and fit. The Z Pad also has armpits built into the pad. Player’s hands can fit tight into the armpits.  The pad cover is made with 18 oz. nylon and is screened with jersey numbers and a facemask.  The pad is made from heavy rebond foam. The pads mount to the sled via two pockets sewn into the pad with 40 oz. nylon and 2” wide gripper webbing.  The pads are removable for storage without any need of tools or pins (about 3 minutes per pad).  Warranty 2 years.

Bloxx Pads

The Bloxx pads have 2 pairs of hand placement targets that help instill optimal postures needed to dominate on game day.  Allows players to feel handles similar to shoulder pads. The pad cover is made with 18 oz. nylon and is screened with jersey numbers and a facemask.  The pad is made from heavy foam. The pads mount to the sled via two pockets sewn into the pad with 40 oz. nylon and 2” wide gripper webbing.  The pads are removable for storage without any need of tools or pins (about 3 minutes per pad).  Warranty 2 years.
